I realized tonight that almost every game that we have to learn numbers is 1 through 10. I know that we have talked a little about “life after 10” but I think the only time we have played a game to learn these numbers is with Legacy Learning Academy’s spider splat game (which is an awesome game that I definitely need to get out again).
I made this little game quickly last night for today’s activities and just wanted to share it with you. Grab a do-a-dot marker, print off these pages, cut out the numbers and you’re ready to go! Turn the numbers face down on the table and either you pick the card of have your child pick the card. Let them identify the number by coloring the circle with the marker.
There are three versions of the card – one with numbers, one with circles for your child to count, and one with words.
We did two games this morning with it. One was turning over the number cards and dotting the matching number on the first page. The second game was to count the dots on the cards and match them with the corresponding number card. What other games did you play with it?
