I’ve noticed over the past two weeks that Savanna has started to grasp the concept of addition on her own and has been adding things together all over the house. So I put together a quick St. Patrick’s Day themed math pack to see how she would do! You can download it free here.
We actually haven’t used our dab markers in a while, so I thought that would also entice her to do worksheets a little more than she normally does. I typically stay as far away from worksheets as possible!
She loved going through each page and figuring out the answer. She was able to do all of these without any help. If she had trouble, I had planned on breaking out the Fruit Loops (they are rainbow colored after all!) to help with the addition problems, but it turned out we didn’t need them.
I’ve also been working on counting to 100 with her. Twenty seems to be her favorite number. All the counting ends in twenty (twenty-nine, twenty! or forty-nine, twenty!). She knows she is wrong and always laughs at herself, but she can’t remember what actually comes next.
I thought printing out these shamrocks with numbers would be helpful as we can work on laying them out in order together as we counted!
If you are still working on one through ten, no worries, there are shamrocks in there for those numbers as well!
Hope you enjoy!
