Savanna loves nature. I think most kids do. I love when we get to go up to my parents vacation home in North Carolina to collect different leaves and seeds that we don’t see at home in South Florida. Lately, she has also been excited to help me cook dinner every night. I thought doing a theme on Farms and seeing how the food she eats is grown would be exciting.
Farms, Gardening, Plants and Seeds
Below is a monthly lesson plan with the activities we will be doing each day. You can find most of these ideas on my Pinterest boards (farms and gardening). And of course, follow us on Instagram to see the activities as we do them. You can download the monthly plan here.
On the monthly calendar, you will see a (P) next to the activities that you can find on the Pinterest board.
These ideas are always supplemented with lots of daily free play. We are constantly using play dough, legos, dolls, and dressing up. These monthly curriculums are to keep us a little more focused on a theme!
